A Brand Born from Experience and Purpose.

Lulo & Paw was born from a deeply personal journey, one that began not in a lab or a design studio, but at home, with a dachshund named Lulo.

Like many dachshund owners, we faced the daily challenges of caring for a breed whose anatomy is both endearing and complex. From the elongated spine to the short limbs and unique gait, every aspect of a dachshund’s body tells a story of resilience, but also of vulnerability.

As Lulo grew, we began to notice subtle signs: hesitations when climbing, shifts in posture, moments of discomfort that were often dismissed as “normal for the breed.” But what we learned, through veterinary consultations, biomechanical studies, and countless hours of observation, is that these small details are early warnings.

They are the first signs of how a dachshund’s lifestyle, environment, and daily habits can directly affect spinal health and long-term mobility.

This realization became our turning point. We discovered that most pet products in the market were designed with a “one-size-fits-all” mindset, built for generic proportions, not for dogs with elongated vertebral columns and a predisposition to spinal disorders such as Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD).

The lack of ergonomically and clinically appropriate tools for prevention revealed a critical gap: there was no brand truly dedicated to the anatomical and physiological needs of dachshunds.

Guided by that insight, we set out to build something different, a brand that merges clinical science, veterinary collaboration, and design innovation to support dachshund health from the inside out. Every material, every contour, and every educational resource we create is informed by veterinary research and designed to reduce risk factors associated with spinal compression, poor posture, and repetitive strain.

But beyond the science, Lulo & Paw was also built on empathy, on the belief that love for our pets must translate into responsible, preventive care.

We exist to bridge the gap between veterinary knowledge and everyday pet ownership, transforming complex clinical concepts into practical, accessible solutions.

Our purpose is not only to care for dachshunds when they’re in pain, but to help prevent that pain from ever beginning. Because when care is guided by both science and compassion, wellness becomes something every dachshund can truly live, not just chase.
